92% improved at least one workplace skill.  69% said they'd recommend Work XP to a friend.  67% left understanding careers better than when they started.

What students discovered

Students encountered careers they'd never considered. Forensics. Marine biology. F1 engineering. Architecture. Fashion.

The job titles were part of it. What stuck was hearing from professionals: how they got there, what qualifications they needed, what the work looks like.

Skills they built

Communication was the skill students cited most. Time management, confidence, and organisation followed. Not prompted. They named these themselves.

What students want more of 

Students asked for live sessions, in-person visits, and the chance to put questions directly to professionals. More variety too, particularly careers that don't usually make the list.

We're constantly improving the programme based on feedback just like this.

Business and schools are already putting their weight behind Work XP

A sponsor already

360 students at St Julie’s and Archbishop Blanch are doing Work XP this year, funded by Frank Rogers (Building Contractor) Limited. A private business chose to put money behind work experience for a whole cohort of girls, Years 8 to 10. That’s the kind of backing the programme is built to attract.
