Work XPerience that works for every young person. 
We demonstrate real skills, real employers, real impact.

Why Work XP?
Traditional work experience is hard to access, especially for younger students, NEET and those with SEND. The KD Club Work XP makes it simple, a digital scalable employer led programme giving every student meaningful insight into the world of work.

Step 1

Register your school  with The KD Club to access our structured Work XP programme, designed to meet careers guidance requirements.

Step 2

You will receive a demonstration video on how to use the digital platform and worksheets.

Step 3

Sign up for the 10 hours (required by the DofE scheme) which takes 6 months and costs £2.50 per student per month based on 1000 students in the school.

Choose your course

Creative Entrepreneurs class

£150 per hour for an in person workshop.
Introduction to business planning, finance and idea creation, leading to a competition to for The Next Big Thing Idea.
  • Up to 30 students in the class
  • All resources provided
  • Competition closes 29th of November.

Creative Entrepreneurs class

£900 per full day in person workshop.
One-day in-school workshops and term programmes that teach design, enterprise and employability. Every student leaves with the start of a digital portfolio and certificate mapped to Gatsby Benchmarks.

Work XP online membership

£2.50 per child.
£2500 per month.
A 6 month plan to allow 1,000 students to go virtually inside 6 industries, study non-traditional job roles and complete monthly masterclasses and live briefs to give them an insight into the workplace.

The KD Club Work XP

A unique programme for young people, The KD Club Work XP prepares students for the workplace, from understanding what the world of work looks like to learning how to get ready for it.

Preparation for the Workplace.

  • What to Wear: Learn how to dress for success — from smart-casual to industry-specific uniforms
  • What to Say: Get tips on introducing yourself, asking questions, and making a great first impression
  • How to Get There: Plan your journey, find the right entrance, and arrive confident and on time

Virtual Workplace Tours.

Experience a "day in the life" of professionals such as architects, chefs and creatives.
  • Gain practical insight into what to expect on your first day.
  • Prepare for work with guidance on tasks, routines and workplace behaviour.
  • Step by step guide to qualifications and/or experience required for various jobs and professions.

Monthly Virtual Masterclasses

  • Students collaborate with industry professionals, engaging in live, hands-on challenges that foster teamwork, problem-solving, and creativity.
  • They connect classroom learning to real-world careers and acquire essential workplace skills through practical tasks, such as designing a road safety poster/map with directors from a road-laying company.

How can we help you?

What is The KD Club Work XP™?

The KD Club Work XP™ is a hybrid, employer-led work experience programme for Years 7–10, 11-13 and beyond (including SEND students). It combines in-school workshops, virtual workplace tours, live online employer events and hands-on challenges to give students meaningful exposure to the world of work, aligned with Gatsby Benchmarks and the new DfE careers guidance.

How is the programme delivered?



Virtual Workplace Tours: Pre-recorded or guided tours from a wide range of industries.
Live Employer Events: Interactive sessions with real-world professionals, including female-led and creative businesses.
Workplace Challenges: Hands-on tasks to develop employability skills.
Digital Toolkit: Access to 5 minute how-to CV writing, Interview tips, reflection logs and careers tracking resources.

How long does the programme last?

The pilot programme runs for 6 months in schools. Each student completes 10+ hours of work experience activities over the duration.
For Students not in education this can be a 6 week course and used as an information, advice and guidance tool to prepare for the future of work.

Is this suitable for SEND students?

Yes! All sessions and digital resources are SEND-friendly, with differentiated activities, visual supports, low-arousal delivery options, and scaffolded tasks.
